Atos and GCH open AI-driven SOC in Dubai
Atos and Gulf Cyberfender Hub (GCH) have opened a new AI-driven Security Operations Center in Dubai, with a focus on local data residency, cyber resilience and faster incident response.
According to the official Atos announcement, the UAE-based SOC will provide locally operated monitoring, detection and incident response services. It is designed for government entities, critical infrastructure operators and enterprises.
AI-driven threat detection and response
The SOC will use advanced analytics, automation and AI-driven operations to speed up threat detection, investigation and response.
Atos said the platform will use Agentic AI to reduce Mean Time to Detect and Mean Time to Respond. The company said this should help organizations respond faster as attackers increasingly use AI to automate and scale cyber threats.
The SOC will also support local data residency and alignment with UAE Information Assurance Standards and National Electronic Security Authority requirements.
The Dubai SOC combines local security operations with AI-driven detection, incident response and locally hosted security data.
Local operations with global threat intelligence
The UAE SOC will work with the Atos Global Threat Research Center. This will provide threat intelligence based on global visibility and adapted to the regional threat landscape. The center will also connect with Atos’ global SOC network. Atos said this model is intended to combine local control with wider threat research and cybersecurity expertise.
Daniele Principato, head of International Markets at Atos, said: “We are proud to bring AI-powered security operations to the UAE, combining local control with global intelligence in an increasingly complex and fast-evolving threat landscape. Together with GCH, we enable customers to respond faster, safeguard critical operations, and advance their digital sovereignty.”
