Axis launches rugged AI cameras for public transport
Axis Communications has launched three rugged onboard cameras designed for buses, trains and trams. The new models combine AI capabilities, integrated audio and built-in cybersecurity features.
The company announced, the new AXIS M3945-R, P3945-R and P3947-R dome cameras offer up to 5 MP resolution and up to 60 fps for capturing fast-moving events.
Built for onboard surveillance
The cameras include built-in microphones, audio-in support, Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR. Scene profiles help optimize image settings for different onboard environments.
AXIS M3945-R is designed for bus interiors, while the P3945-R and P3947-R models target train and tram environments. They comply with relevant transport standards.
