Dahua expands video intercom with integrated security

Dahua Technology has launched WizTalk, an IP video intercom series that combines video surveillance, intrusion alarms, AI-powered detection and smart control within a residential security platform.

According to Dahua Technology, selected WizTalk door stations feature 5MP cameras, while one model uses a 5MP+2MP dual-camera configuration. Full-color night vision is designed to improve entrance visibility in low-light conditions.

AI detection and wider monitoring

WizTalk supports human, loitering, vehicle, package and pet detection, along with human tracking. Package detection can identify when parcels are left or collected, while loitering detection can flag people who remain near an entrance for an extended period. The platform also supports panoramic viewing, picture-in-picture and multi-feed display through indoor control panels.

Key specifications: Selected WizTalk door stations offer 5MP imaging, while the VTO3511UB(S)-PC2 uses a 5MP+2MP dual-camera setup. The series supports full-color night vision, human tracking, loitering, vehicle, package and pet detection, plus 4K decoding on indoor monitors and local recording up to 512 GB via SD card.

Surveillance and intrusion integration

Users can access video surveillance directly from the indoor monitor, including multi-channel preview, PTZ control and digital zoom. Local recording is available through SD cards with capacities of up to 512 GB.

The same interface can also receive intrusion alarm events, allowing WizTalk to combine video intercom, surveillance and household protection in a single residential system. The platform can also connect with compatible cameras, alarm hubs and other smart devices through Dahua’s wider residential ecosystem.
