Parsons sees GCC resilience driving Middle East growth
Parsons expects demand for domestic resilience across the GCC to support further growth in its Middle East business.
According to Investing.com’s report from the Jefferies Global Industrials Conference 2026, the Middle East accounts for 20% of Parsons’ sales. Around 80% of its regional portfolio comes from long-term contracts.
The company also said its Middle East business has delivered double-digit growth in recent years, including in the second quarter. New contract wins also remained strong through the first half of the year.
GCC countries are expected to spend an estimated $2.1 trillion by 2030, with a significant share directed toward domestic resilience.
GCC resilience creates new opportunities
Parsons Chair, President and CEO Carey Frazier said the company sees further opportunity as GCC countries increase their focus on domestic resilience. “There’s an estimated $2.1 trillion that will be spent by the GCC countries between now and 2030, and a lot of that effort’s going to go on this domestic resilience,” Frazier said.
She described this trend as a convergence of defense, security, technology, and infrastructure. Parsons said its regional work already spans defense, security, urban development, transportation, hospitality, and tourism.

Security and infrastructure converge
Critical infrastructure protection accounts for around 7% of Parsons’ revenue. The company said its capabilities include biometrics and counter-UAS systems. It also works on cybersecurity protection for water, utilities, and data centers. Parsons also highlighted its transportation work in the region.
The company recently deployed an advanced traffic management system in Riyadh. It is also involved in projects including King Salman International Airport, King Salman Park, and Qiddiya.
Parsons has been operating in the Middle East for seven decades. The company describes itself as the leading program manager in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. Its largest individual Middle East program represents 1.4% of company revenue.
Cybersecurity remains a growth area
Parsons identified cybersecurity as its fastest-growing end market. The company expects the segment to grow at a compound annual rate of 9% to 11%. Cybersecurity represents around 20% of company revenue.
Its cyber work includes threat hunting and the protection of water and utility infrastructure. Parsons is also applying artificial intelligence to cyber threat hunting, counter-UAS object detection, and traffic management.
