Hanwha Vision launches all-in-one AI security camera
Hanwha Vision has introduced the SPS-A8016, an indoor security device combining AI video surveillance, two-way audio and visual alerts. The system aims to simplify installations by reducing the need for separate security equipment.
According to Hanwha Vision’s official announcement, the SPS-A8016 builds on the company’s Audio Beacon platform. It combines a 5MP camera, a 90 dB speaker, three microphones and a multicolor LED ring. The device targets indoor environments such as schools, banks, retail stores and healthcare facilities.
AI analytics combine security and operational monitoring
The SPS-A8016 uses Hanwha Vision’s Wisenet 9 system-on-chip with dual neural processing units. These allocate separate processing resources to video quality and AI analytics. Its 5MP camera supports 120 dB wide dynamic range and AI-based image enhancement.
The device can classify people, faces, vehicles and license plates. It also supports slip-and-fall detection, loitering detection, line crossing and virtual area monitoring.
Meanwhile, built-in business intelligence features include people counting, crowd counting, queue management and heatmapping. These capabilities allow operators to use the camera for both security monitoring and operational analysis.
