Hikvision and Product.me integrate retail systems

Hikvision has partnered with Cypriot software developer Product.me to integrate retail technology systems. The collaboration connects people-counting cameras, displays and digital signage with a unified software platform.

According to Hikvision’s official announcement, the integration connects its devices with Product.me’s modular Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. The solution targets retailers operating multiple stores and mixed hardware environments.

These include supermarkets, electronics chains, telecom operators and apparel retailers. Businesses can use existing Hikvision infrastructure without replacing installed devices.

Connecting camera data with retail operations

Product.me supports integration with enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM) and point-of-sale (POS) systems. It also connects IoT sensors and Hikvision devices. The platform brings these systems together through a single interface. For example, people-counting camera data can trigger changes in digital signage content.

Retail managers can also monitor connected devices and store activities in real time. Available modules cover digital engagement, interactive experiences, customer assistance, pricing, data collection and retail operations. The platform also supports store management and gamification.

Partnership targets broader integration

George Visvikis, Founder of Product.me, said the collaboration helps retailers connect existing technology investments.

“With this partnership, Hikvision’s retail customers get more out of what they already have.”

The companies also plan to expand their integration into additional device categories and markets.

According to Visvikis, future opportunities include automation, behavioral insights and advanced store intelligence. These areas could incorporate further developments in Hikvision cameras, displays and AI-driven analytics.

The partnership combines Hikvision’s hardware with Product.me’s software platform for managing connected retail technologies.
