Intersec Saudi Arabia Postponed Until October 2027
Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia has postponed this year’s Intersec Saudi Arabia until October 2027. The organizer made the decision after monitoring recent developments in the country. It also coordinated with the venue, local authorities, and domestic and international partners.
Safety remains the top priority
Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia emphasized the safety of exhibitors, visitors, partners, suppliers, and staff. The organizer also aims to preserve the exhibition’s international significance, participation quality, and business value.
“This decision is the result of a careful assessment of the current situation, with the safety and wellbeing of our customers, partners, attendees, and teams coming first,” said Riham Sedik, Show Director of Intersec Saudi Arabia at Messe Frankfurt Middle East.
Sedik also highlighted the exhibition’s development since 2019. During this period, Intersec Saudi Arabia has become an important platform connecting international security, safety, and fire protection companies with the Saudi market. According to Sedik, the postponement will allow organizers to deliver a stronger event in 2027.
Preparations shift to October 2027
Nathan Waugh, Portfolio Director for Security, Technology, and Production at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to its Saudi and international partners.
Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia will continue investing in the exhibition’s long-term development. It also plans to support the Kingdom’s security industry in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Meanwhile, preparations are focused on Intersec Saudi Arabia’s return to Riyadh in October 2027.
Further information and updates will be available on the official Intersec Saudi Arabia website.
