IDIS expands VMS compatibility with Milestone and Genetec

IDIS cameras integrated with Milestone XProtect and Genetec Security Center

IDIS is expanding support for its IP cameras across Milestone XProtect and Genetec Security Center, strengthening interoperability with two widely used video management platforms.

The company lists both platforms among the VMS systems supported through its technology partner program. The integrations allow security integrators to use IDIS cameras within existing VMS environments rather than relying on a single-vendor video ecosystem.

Support for open video architectures

IDIS positions third-party VMS compatibility as part of its open integration strategy. Its technology partner ecosystem includes Milestone, Genetec and several other video management providers.

For integrators, broader VMS support can make it easier to introduce new cameras into existing surveillance systems without replacing the underlying management platform.
