Global Quantum X to launch alongside GISEC 2027
Global Quantum X will launch alongside GISEC Global 2027 in Dubai, bringing quantum technology and cybersecurity together around post-quantum security and national readiness.
Global Quantum X (GQX) by GITEX will run alongside GISEC Global 2027 at Dubai Exhibition Centre from May 4 to 6. The event will take place in strategic partnership with the UAE Cyber Security Council.
GQX will bring together governments, quantum technology leaders, national cybersecurity authorities, research institutions, enterprises and investors.
Preparing for a new quantum era
The launch comes as quantum technology moves from scientific research toward commercial application.
According to McKinsey’s Quantum Technology Monitor 2026, one-third of global enterprises now spend more than $10 million a year on quantum initiatives. The report also estimates that quantum technologies could unlock $2.7 trillion in global economic value over the next decade.
For cybersecurity leaders, the transition also creates new risks. Quantum capabilities could transform sectors such as financial services, life sciences, logistics and advanced manufacturing.
At the same time, governments and organizations will need to rethink how they protect sensitive data, critical infrastructure and digital identities.

Quantum and cybersecurity converge
GQX 2027 will focus on quantum computing, quantum-secured communications and next-generation sensing.
Its co-location with GISEC Global will also put post-quantum security, cryptographic transition, critical infrastructure protection and national quantum readiness on the agenda.

Building the quantum security ecosystem
GQX will address both commercial adoption and the security capabilities needed to support it.
The event will cover quantum-safe migration, sovereign cyber capability and national readiness testing. It will also address governance and cryptographic capabilities linked to the wider quantum transition.
