Dell, CPX back UAE National Vault initiative

The UAE Cyber Security Council, Dell Technologies and CPX are collaborating on a National Vault initiative. It aims to protect mission-critical data and strengthen national cyber resilience.

The partners announced the initiative at Ai Everything 2026. It will focus on critical operational data, recovery and continuity during cyber disruption.

The National Vault will support government services, energy, healthcare, transportation and other significant sectors.

The three partners will contribute expertise in cyber resilience, data protection and recovery. They will also explore the required infrastructure, operating model and governance framework.

Protecting critical data and essential services

The partners intend the National Vault to provide another layer of protection for mission-critical data. It will also support organizations responsible for essential services and vital infrastructure.

The initiative aims to improve recovery readiness when primary environments or conventional security controls fail.

“By working together with CPX and Dell Technologies, we are helping advance the measures required to protect mission-critical data and support the continuity of essential services in an increasingly connected economy.”

– Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government

The partners expect the initiative to evolve alongside the UAE’s changing digital and cybersecurity needs. It could strengthen resilience, recoverability and operational continuity.

Recovery as part of cyber resilience

The collaboration also focuses on recovering trusted data after critical systems suffer disruption.

Hadi Anwar, CEO of CPX, said recovery speed becomes critical when systems go down. He said the National Vault would provide that capability at a national level.

“Data is fundamental to the UAE’s digital economy, but its value depends on its ability to remain secure and recoverable under pressure.”

– Walid Yehia, Managing Director – South Gulf, Dell Technologies

The initiative also supports the UAE’s broader focus on cyber resilience. It aims to help organizations prepare both to withstand disruption and recover from it.
