Hytera Supports Medical Teams at IRONMAN

Hytera’s Push-to-Talk technology supported medical teams during the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France. The deployment enabled instant communication among healthcare personnel working across the racecourse.

Hytera announced that the communications system connected medical teams through the company’s HyTalk LTE platform. The deployment supported Euromedicare personnel responsible for medical assistance during the international sporting event.

Connecting Medical Teams Across 110 Kilometers

The championship took place in Nice, with athletes completing a 1.9-kilometer swim, a 90-kilometer cycling course, and a 21.1-kilometer run.

Providing medical coverage across the extensive route required coordination between personnel stationed at different locations. Euromedicare deployed 10 doctors and 10 nurses, supported by approximately 100 rescue personnel.

Hytera’s HyTalk LTE platform connected 20 medical professionals across a racecourse spanning more than 110 kilometers, alongside approximately 100 rescue personnel.

Hytera’s Push-to-Talk devices connected medical teams through the HyTalk LTE platform, enabling instant communication from the starting line to the finish. The deployment addressed the need for rapid information exchange and coordination when responding to potential medical incidents.

ENERGIA DISTRIBUTION Manages Deployment

Hytera’s partner, ENERGIA DISTRIBUTION, designed and deployed the communications system. The company managed the project from the initial feasibility assessment through equipment configuration.

The deployment provided a communications solution for medical teams operating across a geographically distributed sporting event, supporting coordination throughout the championship.
